The club itself was established in 1909 and has been operating from our current location at Leicester Airport
(RAF Leicester East) since 1951.
The site was built and originally used by the RAF in WWII.
The Aero Club is a Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) approved Flight Training Organisation (FTO) offering flight training to the highest standard by our professional and experienced flight instructors and examiners.
At Leicestershire Aero Club you can enjoy great facilities and top level instruction in a friendly club atmosphere.
We train to a high standard across many levels of flying qualification.
