Aircraft we finance
We finance aircraft registered in the UK, USA, Isle of Man and the Cayman Islands, excluding those operated by major airlines and the Armed Services.
Established in 1976, we have more than 40 years’ experience helping our customers meet their aviation finance needs.
Our in-depth knowledge means we consistently deliver a quality and efficient service.
We work in partnership with our customers
We are proud of our long history of developing, promoting and supporting the General Aviation industry in our capacity as active members of the British Business and General Aviation Association, the Royal Aeronautical Society and the British Helicopter Association.
Over the years, we have helped finance thousands of aircraft, purchased from across the globe.
At Close Brothers we understand that every customer is unique, and this approach underpins the way we work.
We specialise in creating bespoke finance packages, spending time getting to know our customers before proposing an appropriate and affordable solution that suits their needs, including deposit requirements, currency of loan and interest/capital repayments.
Drawing on our experience and expertise, we are able to provide customers with a wide range of choice and work in partnership to ensure that we offer flexible lending terms to enable the purchase of a new aircraft or to raise finance using existing aircraft as security.
Aircraft mortgages and registration
The finance facilities are structured by way of a loan secured by an aircraft mortgage.
Security – by way of a mortgage over the aircraft - will be required, together with the appropriate guarantees, and facility fees normally apply.
